Dallas, Texas native of Puerto Rican descent, Mark “KPT” Washington – known as King Papi Texas – is more than a Puerto Rican artist; he’s a force of creative innovation who transforms life’s raw energy into musical alchemy. A genre-defying creator, KPT transcends traditional rap boundaries by producing, mixing, and mastering his own tracks, weaving together conscious rap and hip-hop with sultry R&B and vibrant Latin pop influences. Following this, he’s off to Atlanta, Georgia, for the Moss Fest National Finals in December.
